Ursin Maibach worked for 16 years in category management for leading e-commerce companies in various industries. His professional passion has always been the global hunt for the products, brands and companies of tomorrow. As a long-time CPO, head of category management and keen visitor of consumer goods trade shows, he knows the vegan FMCG market from the ground up.

As a long-standing board member of the Vegan Society Switzerland and as Vegan Trademark Country Manager DACH, he is in continuous exchange with numerous stakeholders. He is on the advisory board of and an investor in the Stockholm-based vegan investment holding Kale United, which finances and builds promising vegan startups.

He founded honeydew GmbH because he sees huge potential for improvement in restaurants and industry. Supply and its quality cannot keep up with growing demand.

Ursin has not eaten animals for ethical reasons since he was 16 and has been vegan since 2010. He lives in Zurich and Frankfurt.
